#Meinungsmacher

Markgrafentheater Erlangen (D) 2018

The Internet promises hope and terror at the same time. As a result, there is an increasingly louder discussion about the opportunities and risks of digital progress - especially in view of the upcoming elections in Germany and Europe. The question is no longer whether so-called social bots are used to shape opinion, but by whom. In conjunction with alternative facts and fake news, it is not only on social networks that the mood can be steered and fueled. In reality, too, the question is increasingly being raised as to how dependent we are on digital opinion-making on Facebook, Twitter, and the like. In order to find out, the documentary theater piece "Meinungsmacher" by Hans-Werner Kroesinger and Regine Dura puts our common, analog common sense to the test.
